Opportunities currently available include:
Volunteer Passenger Assistant
As a Volunteer Passenger Assistant, you would be part of the Community Dial A Bus Team helping to provide a vital and “first class” service for our passengers who all have difficulty accessing public transport. The role would include helping passengers on and off the vehicle, helping carry shopping to and from the vehicle and into client’s homes, also ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for the passengers in our care.

Volunteer Driver
As a Volunteer Driver, you would be part of the Community Dial-A-Bus Team helping to provide a vital and “first class” service for our passengers who all have difficulty accessing public transport. The role would involve driving one of our three specially adapted minibuses on pre-arranged Dial-A-Bus Journeys. All of our drivers have suitable minibus training prior to driving our buses. The role may include helping passengers on and off the vehicle, including the use of disabled access equipment for which suitable training will be provided.
